Purple prairie clover,
Petalostemum villosum. There was a nice display of this flower toward the
northern edge of the prairie during the summer of 2000. This shot is a double exposure.
One exposure was taken in sharp focus and the next exposure was taken with everything
out of focus, resulting in an image with halos surrounding areas of sharpness.
