This high-contrast image of a field of endless, feathery, white Culver's root vividly illustrates how a photographic vision can be realized via precise exposure control. My aim was to dramatically emphasize the many white blooms without blowing out the highlights, while, at the same time, maintaining detail in the much darker undergrowth.
