Culver's root
(Veronicastrum virginicum)

A member of the snapdragon family, Culver's root, a prairie plant, can adapt to managed woodlands. Culver's root reaches heights of between two and seven feet. Its irridescent white flowers enrich the brilliant colors of the summer prairie.
