Wolf Road Prairie is owned jointly by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and the Forest Preserve District of Cook County with buffer property owned by Save the Prairie Society. The Illinois Nature Preserves Commission oversees its management and protection. All natural features of the preserve are protected by law. When you visit, please observe these simple rules: Stay on trails and sidewalks. Do not pick or remove anything. No domestic animals. No vehicles or bicycles. No dumping.
