Our annual Insect Safari is back by popular demand. Mark your calendars for 10 am on Saturday, July 30. Meet at the Prairie House, located at 11225 Constitution Drive in Westchester. Our insect experts will be leading you into the wilds of the Prairie to find and observe our varied insects in their natural habitat. We will then return to the shade of the Prairie House porch for a closer examination of those insects we have temporarily captured. You are welcome to bring your own jar with air holes, and we recommend that you wear long pants and sturdy shoes. There is a $5 fee for this event.
